One of the highlights of our year is working on the brand identity, merchandise, website development, and promotion for the Wanee Music Festival! Undoubtedly, one of Florida’s best and longest-running outdoor music fests.

For this year’s identity project, we collaborated with Omar Angulo to create a dreamy, summer evening take on the brand presentation, featuring the trademark Wanee Elves and Fairies characters that we orignally created back in 2008.

Starting with rough pencil sketches, Omar evolved these to black-line ink illustrations, which we then digitized, colored, and implemented into the Wanee Festival Website, advertising placements, and various other promotional uses.

It was more than a year ago today that I forgot to post this print on our blog. Design by Francesco LoCastro. 6 color print (including metallic silver, and several  transparent fluorescent inks).

We also produced a few of these on sheets of 1/8″ clear acrylic. If you find yourself at  Laser Wolf in Fort Lauderdale, check out the framed “floating” version of this print on display: a clear acrylic print mounted over a background print, to create a unique 3D effect
