If I had a dollar for every time someone told me I look like Brett Michaels, I would have 0 dollars. This poster however is rich in majesty and prestige. It is 3 colors on black cardstock (green, violet, and metallic silver). Beware of the paper cuts my friends, for as we all know, Every rose has it’s thorn.

Ah, the days when you could see a woman who looked strikingly similar to your Aunt Tammy strip and rub her baby maker for $0.35. A treasured time in the golden age of perversion. The Melvins make us want to rub our baby makers for free, so Mutha-effin’ Chuck did the layout and colors and omar angulo did the illustration for this bad boy. Part of the “official tour series” for the Melvins. Look for them coming to your city soon!

My favorite things about warped tour used to be the tense vibe of teen angst, the brown and yellow hues of mud and sweat stains on band T’s, and the cries of the mighty skinhead being trampled by droves of 13yo girls longing for the touch of some shaggy haired boy in tight denim screaming incoherently on a stage. But now my favorite thing is the sweet poster we made. 3 colors on white cardstock. It may or may not smell like sweat.

This is the best poster we’ve done for a cartoon band (so far). P.S., Ian is in California and my funny bone hurts, so there will be more engaging commentary on these new posters when he returns. 7 colors, illustration by the mighty OMAR ANGULO
edit: By engaging commentary, he means I will come up with some random nonsense, link it to the poster we designed by a stroke of original and pure genius, and wrap it up with production details and a thank you sir. That ain’t happeing here. But this poster is freakin’ awesome.

UPDATE: 7/18/08: we no longer have copies of this print for sale..you can check with lonestar posters or Philaarts for a copy.

This bad boy is 4 colors on white 14pt. cardstock, hand cut to shape. If you’ve been to Lester’s Diner on State Road 84 in Fort Lauderdale, you know about the 14 oz. cup. But this is the Dave Matthew’s Band so we had to add the extra 2 ounces to indicate the sheer size of DMB. Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band ain’t got nothin’ on Dave Matthews. That’s real son!

Grab your fitted fifty nine fifty yamaka, there is a jewish rapper in town!
This stuff never photographs well: metallic bronze, metallic gold, and burgandy on chipboard.
This poster is kosher because we slit the bull’s throat before printing it.
